Who We Are

About ISKCON Kopargaon

A spiritual home in the sacred land of Kopargaon — where devotion, community, and Krishna consciousness come alive every day.

Our Story

A Temple Born of
Pure Devotion

ISKCON Kopargaon is an extension centre of ISKCON Juhu, nestled in the sacred land of Ahmednagar, Maharashtra – moments from Shirdi. We are part of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), founded in New York in 1966 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

Our centre serves as a beacon of Vedic culture – offering daily darshan, festivals, prasad distribution, youth programs, and spiritual education to thousands of devotees and pilgrims each year.

Our Founder-Ācārya

HDG A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda

The process of Krishna consciousness is the highest yoga system - not only the highest, but the broadest.

— Srila Prabhupada

At age 69, Srila Prabhupada crossed the Atlantic on a steamship and single-handedly planted the seed of the Hare Krishna movement across the world. His books, purports, and mission have transformed millions of lives across every continent and continue to guide our centre in Kopargaon every day.
